Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 2026
This Privacy Policy applies to all services offered by CounselPort through counselport.com.
Information We Collect
We collect only information you voluntarily provide: name, work email, organization, title, city, and country during identity confirmation. Client legal names are encrypted and used solely for conflict of interest checks. We do not collect personal browsing data, cookies beyond essential session cookies, or any private data from third parties.
How We Use Information
Your information is used to: verify your professional identity, connect you with overseas counsel for project collaboration, and operate the platform. Client legal names are encrypted and only decrypted on secure conflict-check pages after a counsel confirms interest.
Information Sharing
We do not sell your information. We do not share your full identity with overseas counsel until you initiate a project request. Client names are disclosed only to counsels who pass conflict checks, on a secure page. We may share anonymized, aggregated data for platform improvement.
Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.
